Winter loved cold weather, but most importantly, the thing that came with it. Christmas! She's just a 24 year old that believes in Santa Claus and the North Pole, but when an earth-shattering event happens the morning of Christmas Eve, Winter finds her mood dampened. Christmas magic will send her a special visitor that just might give her the dose of Christmas cheer she needs.

...

I grabbed my metal bat (the one I was going to use to beat the shit out of Ben's car, but I got too scared) from the side of my nightstand and held it up, gripping the handle. Sweet Lord I was about to attack whoever was in my house and I was nervous as hell. I smoothed down my red, silk nightie and took a deep breath before opening my door silently.

My heart was thumping in my chest as I made my way to where the noise was located-the living room. I gulped and turned the corner, seeing a tall, slender figure standing in front of my sad, little Christmas tree that I had kicked over in rage over an hour ago. The lamp light illuminated him vaguely, accenting his fit body and dark hair. The figure, clearly male, sighed and picked up the sunken tree, setting it upright. I frowned and stood still, my knuckles white from gripping the bat so hard. The man ran his hand across the pines and the tree immediately raised taller. My mouth fell open and my eyes widened; how did he do that?!

He reached over to a bag and took out several things, placing them under the tree-Wait...were those presents? Could this be...

The figure turned and let out a frightened Yelp, triggering my own. The man backed up and almost tripped over his bag as I also tried retreat, whipping my body around so fast I hit myself in the forehead with my own bat. I fell to the floor and groaned as I clutched the tender skin of my head, rolling to the side. I hadn't noticed the man making his way towards me cautiously.

"Um, Winter, are you alright?" He asked. "I'm Nick Claus."

I got more and more annoyed as he drove up, parked and unmounted his bike. He pulled off his helmet and shook his head, noticing me there staring at him. We just stared at each other, neither moving, neither speaking. He started to make his way up his driveway, not even bothering with a greeting, so I called out to him. "Hey! Where've you been?" I tried not to sound accusatory or angry, and I succeeded. Though I sounded more hurt than anticipated. He stopped and walked towards me. He walked kind of slowly, like he was trying to avoid me. I stood on the steps, fighting the urge to walk towards him so we could talk. Never ever did I think I'd want to talk to him, yet here I was. Once in front of me he stayed at the bottom step, not climbing up further. He said nothing and I repeated my question once again, "Where have you been?" He shifted then just replied with "Out." "Out?" I repeated, getting refueled with annoyance. "That's it? You've been missing all day and all you have to say is you were out?" "Fuck, dude, what are you, my mom? I was out! Are you trying to keep tabs on me or something?" I was angry at him, and started to feel feelings towards him that I haven't felt in months. I stepped down two steps to look at him eye level, ready to argue with him. But, rather than open my mouth to fight, I found myself staring at his tired gaze and freezing for a moment. I didn't want to fight with him, and I saw he didn't want to fight with me-at least, that was my hope. I let my glare fall and closed the distance between us, wrapping my arms around him in the tightest hug I could muster. He seemed shocked, remaining rigid in my arms until I quietly muttered, "I was worried about you, jackass," into his neck. He just sighed before relaxing and hugging me back.

My dream continued the one I'd been having for the past couple of nights. I ran, gasping for breath, through the familiar woods from a dark figure behind me. The faster I tried to run, the slower I seemed to go, until it was like I was running in place. I knew I needed to run. I was terrified of what the figure would do when he caught me. "Mara Leigh," a deep, smooth voice called. It was almost hypnotic. That was new. The figure had never spoke before now. I ran as fast as I could go, eyes searching the forest floor for a big stick or something that I could use to defend myself. "Mara Leigh!" the voice came again, this time more insistent. The forest slowly started to fade and I started to awake to someone shaking my shoulders. "Beau?" I mumbled, turning my head to the side. What's Beau doing in my room this time of night? Why is he shaking me? "Do not call me that name." My eyes flew open as I jumped at the voice from my dream. A face was right in front of mine, and just like the voice, it wasn't Beau. Before I could form a scream, a hand covered my mouth. I tried to bite it but I couldn't get my mouth to open. He's too strong. I started to use my whole body to try to get away, but he crawled on top of me, holding me down. I pulled the hidden knife out from under my pillow and slashed as hard as I could at him, but he just grabbed my wrist and squeezed it until the pain made me drop the knife. Then he grabbed both my hands in one of his and held them over my head. He held me down while I struggled. I grunted and moved and tried to kick and scream, but I only wore myself out. Exhausted, I stopped thrashing and let the tears flow freely down my cheeks. I didn't know what to do, so I just tried to prepare myself for whatever was coming.

"Why are you late?" He questions, sounding exactly as I remember "You know, traffic." I apologize, making a turn to trudge to him majestically. "If you say so," he nods, the night preventing my view of his face "Thank you, Azazel," I mutter, my tone neither high nor low. "Why did you want to see me?" He polls, his voice resounding through the dark abandoned warehouse. "Yes Azazel," I smirk and try to hide the slight fear of reject nagging at the back of my head. "What is it about?" He implores his arm going to rub his prominent chin as he fixes a stare at me. "I want my soul back," I inform, matching his gaze with mine. "How do you plan on getting it back?" He quizzes, stepping a few inches my way into the light. "With a deal Azazel, or more specifically, a pact," I tell using all my energy to stop my feet from moving backward. "That is very difficult Xander, you sealed your vow with a drop of blood," he argues, the moonlight falling more on his face as he tilts his head upwards. "And I'm here to make and seal another," I converse awaiting a reply. "No, you got what you wanted, to be rich, famous, and loved, what else do you desire?" He asks, his supernatural blue eyes having a scary glint to them. "My soul," I repeat. "Plus I know you love making deals Azazel, no matter how you try to hide it, I see the excitement and mischief you try to conceal." "Same way I see the little fear of rejection bubbling within you, I detect it in your eyes, I hear it in your heartbeat, and the blood pumping through your veins," he sneers in response, squaring his wide shoulders to come off as intimidating. "Hence we understand each other well, we know you've got more to win than lose, and I've got more to lose than win," I confess. "You are right," he lets out in a husky tone, his red lips curving into a hint of a smile. "So what do you say demon, you in?" I invite, my eyebrow raised "I am," he gleams. "What's this pact about?"

A not so perfect fairytale love story of a Jock and a Bitch---minus the Nerd. --- I quickly took hold of my long gown and semi-run the short stairs to the garden. I did not realize Apollo was running from behind and grasped my left arm tightly. "Is it true? Is it true that you all planned it out so Jessa and I broke up? Tell me... tell me!" He yelled holding my arms facing me. I could see the hatred in his eyes telling me he despised me so much. I sniffed from all the crying I had done that night and answered him. "Yes. It's true. I'm the mastermind. I'm the one who hired a fucking bitch to have sex with you. I'm the one who sent all those pictures to your PRECIOUS PRINCESS. I'm the witch who ruined your perfect love story. I'm that bitch! Are you happy now?" I shouted and wiped the tears silently falling down my cheeks. I sniffed when his face drew confusion. "B-but why? Is that how you hate her so much for you to do that?" He asked in disbelief and removed his hands away from my arms. He quickly brushed his hair backward using his right palm. "It doesn't matter anymore, you already have your answer, you can go back to her now. I don't need my mom, I don't need my dad, I don't need anyone... Even you." I said in a firm tone. I could feel my chest tightened when I spilled out the last two words. I quickly held my dress and started deserting the place when a tight hug from my back made me come to a halt. I flinched when I felt his heart beating at a faster pace in my back. "What if I tell you... I already fell in love with you." He whispered in my ears and that brought goosebumps all over my body. Before I begin, I just want to say that this story does include some mature themes. I will also give out a warning a chapter prior to these scenes. Getting that out of the way, let's go onto the story description... *This book contains explicit content* *EXTRACT FROM THE BOOK* I stared at him, cooking and whistling, something that I could not do, or should I say, wasn't bothered to do. I decided to move away and to try and find an exit but I didn't even take one step back when I heard his voice. "Princess? Is that you?" I saw him raise his head before shooting his eyes onto me. The sudden gaze caused to heart to race while it froze my body as if I have turned into ice. I felt the fear engulf my body, eating me inside out. "You aren't scared of me... Are you?" he asked me, I sensed the envy in his voice. That mixed with his harsh tone caused a wave of goosebumps to course through my body. I wanted to begin by asking him where was I? Why was I here? Why was he here... I wanted to ask him, but I couldn't, the fear was just all too much for me. "Come on... Speak to me... Ask me..." he began. "Ask me 'why am I here' and all of that crap... Entertain me with your fear." I saw him slowly gripping a knife that was on the countertop, with his eyes still on mine. The sides of his mouth slowly began tilting upwards. All the bitterness and the cold, it was all so visible in his eyes. I looked at him in horror, noticing him as he took his first steps towards me. "Talk to me... Because this might be the only time you will ever be able to talk, " he said this sentence in such a calm tone, it caused me once again to shiver with goosebumps. "W-what do you mean...". Never in my life have I stuttered, until then.

One of his hands slides underneath my dress and between my thighs, trying to separate them. I press them together harder, and see his facial expression-It was dark, he was clearly getting aggravated at my defiance. His fingernails start digging into my flesh, as I let out a weak sob. My voice seemed to have left me as the world around me became nothing. Was I going to accept this? Eyesight blurry, I become dizzy- intense nausea seeping in. I hope I throw up. I hope it disgusts him enough to leave me the hell alone. What if I get away and he follows me to my mom? What if he hurts her? As soon as the panic comes, it leaves. Had someone finally heard my screams and pleas for help? The old man is knocked off of my body in a blur, and I take this chance to crawl away from his hunched form; My bones aching from the hard, dirty floor. I reach the brick wall, and let myself fall limp on a patch of ivy. I suddenly feel tired, my energy was draining. I feel a heating sensation warming up my chest- spreading like a wildfire; My veins turn a glowing citrus, orange color- but it quickly goes away. Did I see that correctly? Although, the weak feeling doesn't go away. I shut my eyes momentarily, only to reopen them to fill my curiosity. I don't see much because of the black blobs coating my vision. The veins on my arms have went back to their normal blue, as if I hadn't seen them turn any odd color at all. Maybe I was hallucinating. I was only able to witness one thing, and I had a sinking feeling that I probably shouldn't have watched. I was able to spot out a masculine figure grab the old man by his neck, and what I saw next shocked me to my deepest core. His eyes turn an intense silky red as his fangs come out quickly and he gives an evil, intimidating smile. "I'm gonna enjoy this." He states in his low guttural voice as he reaches forward and rips the old man's liver out.

#2 in Horror. /02.23.16/ I hear footsteps approaching me, pacing faster and faster making me look back quickly. I see a man in a black fabric mask wearing all black clothing. I widen my eyes beginning to run in the snow making my feet heavy. "Help! Somebody help me!" I scream in a cry looking around to find nobody on sight. "Help!" I scream trying to run faster hoping somebody would hear my cries. My throat became sore from the cold quickly making it harder to breathe freely. "Help me! Somebody!" I hear the tall figure run behind me feeling a grip on my hair. My white ski hat fell into the ground covered in snow. The man groans pulling my hair towards him making me collapse. "No, stop!" I scream struggling from his grasp, punching and kicking aimlessly. "Shhh." The man whispers into my ear grabbing onto my wrists starting to cuff them. "No!" I scream twisting and turning trying to bite the man's arm. The man doesn't say much. The only thing I hear is his heavy breathing. He starts to shackle my ankles together as I lay a full blown kick into his face making him groan in pain holding onto his nose on top of the mask. "Help me, somebody!" I keep yelling as he kicks me in the stomach and takes out a clothed bag from his coat pocket putting it on my head covering my face. He ties it up from the back tightly making my neck feel pressured. "Please." I whimper. "You don't have to do this." I cry admitting defeat. "Night, night."
