Two brothers. One white one black. Both children of the master though only one knows it. Eli is a slave under Mr. Jones, his own father though this secret has been hidden for years. Charlie is also the son  Mr.Jones and he absolutely hates Eli and all slaves not knowing him and Eli are brothers. When Charlie does something the law would not approve of he sets out to kill the only witness. Eli. This story is about two brothers who through crime, hate, injustice, and death finally come to realize the true meaning off racism and of family.
