Mare goes back to Norta months after the events of War Storm, along with Evangeline, Elane, and Farley.
This is the story of Mare rekindling things with Cal, Evangeline trying to deal with the current issue facing The New Free Republic of Norta, an assassination attempt that left Julian, the current Premier on his deathbed, and Farley trying to figure out what, if any, Powers her infant may possess and how on earth she's going to deal with them.
*Though none of this is a Marecal oneshot, Cal's fourth POV can be read as one.
