The letter continues; "There will be a grand ball on the 21th of June to open the hotel. However, I want my important guests to arrive on the 19th to get used to the surroundings and interact with the other guests. I need you to come. SHE needs you to come. I have already arranged transportation to pick you up. I just hope you survive long enough to find your answer."

L Lawliet, worlds greatest detective and possibly the smartest person alive... can't talk. Well, he can, but only to those he's deeply connected with. Partially mute, he hides behind his screen and solves crimes anonymously. Speaking to taskforces with text to speech, and no face shown. Until he's pushed into a corner with a particularly tricky case, and ends up having to make his first face to face interaction. (y/n) shows up to the hotel room of the worlds greatest detective, thinking they'd see a well polished, wise old man. Instead they're met with a tired, young and rather huggable looking guy with eyebags holding a torn notebook page saying "I am L, and I can't talk" -- GNC READER. Basically all language for the reader is gender neutral, anyone can read! Non binary mfs rejoice. When the eventual lemon hits it'll be kinda alluded to an AFAB body (bc marketing to my main audience yo), but all pronouns are they/them and there's no descriptions of tiddies or anything. They reach the hotel and it exceeded every expectation and everyone loved it. Days go away in this wonderful hotel and suddenly a man dies which is at first seen as a natural cause. But when Lea gets a call from an unknown strange voice man that it was a murder, things change. Who is doing all this? What are their intentions?
