Hibakusha, en español podemos interpretarlo como "persona bombardeada", es el nombre dado a los sobrevivientes de los bombardeos atómicos a Japón en agosto de 1945. Personas marcadas por la tragedia, portadoras de grandes cicatrices tanto físicas como mentales.
Karma Akabane, un hibakusha de 87 años, decide relatar la tragedia que marcó su vida.

Nagisa was put in a mental hospital for a reason, Karma was suspended from school for a time and then a murder running around? In no normal world was this considered being normal. Now what makes matters worse these two people were not emenies but friends who would never admit they were friends and that they would worry for each other.
