I look around at my home for the past two nights; the uneven cave walls cry droplets of water as they form a shallow puddle to my right. My wings shutter each time the wind blows in, threatening to put out my small camp fire. The flames tease me, dancing as I become lost in their rhythm. Stuck in a trance, I reflect on one number, 1825.
1825 days since part of me died.
