Ballan and the Colonel
This is a BL love story, loosely based on the outstanding new Thai BL series Shine. After watching episode 1. of Shine, I thought I couldn't wait for the next episode to drop, so, I started writing an alternate story. I used the "second couple" - (Colonel) Krailert and Naran - as my protagonists. However, I changed their names and other details. Naran became Ballan, and Krailert became Marwin. They are still an army colonel and a journalist, but the similarities stop there. I tried to make the main characters sexy and interesting. I bring in humour, drama, sex, love, and current affairs - set in the same era as Shine - 1969. There is some crude language and smoking of marijuana. This is a work of fiction (and my imagination), and I, in no way, want to infringe on the copyright of the original writers, I just wanted to have fun with my alternate scenarios. Most of all, I do not want to profit from my writing of this story. My hope against hope is that readers will enjoy my writing enough to be curious about my other BL stories, and wan to read them in a for profit understanding.
