"Can I ask a question?" He nodded, letting her know to continue.
"What did you see when you had your ceremony?" She played with the ends of her hair, crossing her legs.
"Honestly, I remember seeing an gorgeous young woman, crying to herself as she ran out of the doors of some big hall of something" the ceremony, the night she didn't meet her mate. He looked at Chanmi, noticing her flushed cheeks and smiled shyly at her, "and then I saw her eyes. Well, not your eyes but your wolves eyes. They were identical to mine. You?" He turned his entire body towards her, making her turn to him in the same manner.
"Well, honestly, I saw this place, and you, and me... wearing a white dress." She chuckled nervously, running a hand through her hair.
Yoongi, though quite the person to not get flustered easily, has a slight flush to his usual pale cheeks.
"Oh." He breathed out, making her giggle.
"Maybe it was just symbolic, that we're "meant to be."" She chuckled as she rubbed her arms, staring off into the water.
"Maybe." He whispered.

When Kim Chanmi was suddenly placed in the Alpha role due to a tragedy, she was drawn to a certain place.
Which just so happened to be the home of a her supposedly dead soulmate.
They both deny it. Someone from the Water Line and the Fire Line just can't be mates.
Right?
He remembered the way Jimin laughed-mocking, cold.
And still... the pain didn't feel like regret.
Yoongi exhaled.
"Sometimes... the ones who scream the loudest are the ones who were never heard at all."
The medics exchanged a glance.
"He could kill you," the younger one said again. "Why would you go back?"
Yoongi finally looked at him.
"Because if I don't," he said softly, "no one will."
And the room fell silent.
Only the sound of Yoongi's shaky breath and bandage being wrapped around his head, slowly soaking through with red.
Yoongi stood up from the chair slowly, the bandage tight around his head, the sting still pulsing behind his temple. But his eyes-those hadn't dimmed.
They were sharper now. Clearer.

I held her hand...
and I didn't know what to say.
Because how do you look into your sister's eyes,
when they've seen hell and still lived?
Her soul was torn, not her clothes.
And they told her to stay silent.
They asked her what she was wearing.
But no one asked her if she wanted to live anymore.
I watched her rot from the inside.
I heard her scream at 2 a.m.
I saw her try to end it... more than once.
And the men who did it?
They laughed.
They walked free.
They posted selfies.
That night, something inside me died.
Not just as a brother-
but as a human being.
So don't call me a monster for what I did.
Because monsters did something to her.
I only killed them.
And honestly?
I wish I could kill them again.
