In the year 1777, the American revolutionary war has put Elizabeths family at stake. There are many risks she's willing to take to make sure her 11 year old son makes it through these horrendous obstacles. She'll do anything for him, even if she has to die. What she is doing is against the law but she must protect her young at any cost. No woman has ever done this before. She's the first and maybe even the last.
