'... I found myself unable to find much sleep the night after the accident. I felt responsible for every part of it. From the drunk driver running that red light, overturning into our lane, and I not having enough time to react. If I had just a few more seconds, I could've saved her. Every time I close my eyes I hear her screams. She was screaming for her life, and deep down it made me believe she knew she wouldn't make it out of that car alive...'

"You got in an accident." He began. "I know." Then he took her hand, "I may not be real. I hope I am but there is a good chance that I am not." And again, she sighed. "I know." A figment of her imagination, is what they call him. But what if he is real? These are piles of conversations that never happened. Except in the mind of a writer and eventually in that of a reader.
