This is a short and elegant story of a single aging mother who is left all on her own in a town with her two young adult daughters. This is a heartwarming tale of how they manage to get by and overcome their hardships. Takes place in Jane Austen's era, and written in her style of writing. I found inspiration in her works Pride & Prejudice and Sense & Sensibility. Hence my title; Family & Friend. See what I did there? (;

The Eldest | F. Darcy
First Book in The Eldest series There lived six sisters in the Bennet household. The first was a very generous and kind soul who helped her father with the estate and tenants. She passed her childhood away from the Bennts at her Uncle's house in London. She was far more accomplished and intellectual than the others. What no one knew was the reason behind her aloof and silent demeanor. She used to get lost in her thoughts for hours and avoided assemblies. The only assembly she ever attended was the one where Mr. Bingley had come with his sisters, brother in law and a Mr. Darcy When Mr. Darcy first saw her, she was in a corner with Mary. Many men came in her way only to receive a polite no from her. At a dinner, even when everyone laughed at Elizabeth's jest, her smile did not reach her eyes. Who was she? The Perks Of Falling For Your Bestfriend✔
"In vain have I struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you." -Pride and Prejudice. -Jane Austen. Allison Waters is a girl as simple as they come, atleast that's what she believed. And to be honest she did enjoy a simple life for the past two years. All she wanted to pass her senior year in peace and be happy in life. What she wasn't expecting was to be back in town with a certain Greek God of a Devil acting more annoying than ever... Calling him tall dark and handsome would be the understatement of the century. He is the arrogant quarterback and one of the most popular guys in shcool. He is as I mention previously the reincarnation of the devil in his actions and a Greek God in the looks department, with startling blue eyes, a sinful body and gorgeous hair, who may at different times define the words Cocky and Adorable. Quite a contrast isn't it? Well that's who he is, or for that matter how we all are... a bit of both. Ashton Fobes is Alli's bestfriend, well Ex-Bestfriend, he is also her arch nemisis, her sworn enemy, but he is also the only one who can make her push her limits and challenge her in ways she never thought possible. Soon they were playing with Cupid's arrows trying to set up the unlikeliest couple imaginable, but what they seemed to have forgotten was Fate's wierd sense of humor and so it turned out while they were playing with Cupid's Arrows, he was aiming them at these two instead. Ps: I have now unpublished most of the chapters. Highest Ranking: 30, 35, 50 in teen fiction. 32, 66 in ChickLit. 46, 47, 78 in humor.Concluida
Matters of Chance
Elizabeth Bennet is a 23 year old environmental journalist still living with her parents. She has a steady plan to get out of the sleepy city of Meryton and gain her independence. However, when rich and eligible bachelor Charles Bingley moves into the Netherfield apartment downtown and makes a move on Lizzie's sister, her world gets spun around. Her sister gets a new boyfriend in the form of Charles Bingley, while Elizabeth gets a new enemy in the form of Charles' best friend, Darcy. Pompous car company CEO Darcy and Elizabeth seem like natural born enemies, but with a series of run-ins and misunderstandings, it seems as if the two of them are a little more similar than they'd like to admit. 🌱🌿🌱 Matters of Chance is a retelling of Jane Austen's classic romance Pride and Prejudice. It takes place on the American west coast. It features an Asian-American Bennet family living in a small city outside of Seattle. It has very similar plot points to the original, but adapted to a modern setting. However, I don't think you need to have read Pride & Prejudice to read this! The characters are written so that you can do without it. Here's a link to my aesthetic board to get a feel for the characters! https://pin.it/w8qkJa7\ [50,000 - 60,000 words] #1 in prideandprejudice 6/13/2020 ✨ #15 in Romance 10/27/2020 🎃Concluida

Presented as a series of detailed journal entries, the story chronicles Darcy's innermost thoughts, feelings, and experiences as he navigates the complex social landscape of early 19th-century England. From the outset, Darcy's aloof and prideful demeanor sets him at odds with the spirited Elizabeth Bennet-whose wit and lack of deference both intrigue and confound him. Despite his initial resistance, Darcy finds himself increasingly drawn to Elizabeth, admiring her intelligence and vivacity. The narrative delves into Darcy's struggles with his own prejudices and the expectations imposed upon him by society and his station. Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen
The story follows the main character, Elizabeth Bennet, as she deals with issues of manners, upbringing, morality, education, and marriage in the society of the landed gentry of the British Regency. Elizabeth is the second of five daughters of a country gentleman living near the fictional town of Meryton in Hertfordshire, near London. Page 2 of a letter from Jane Austen to her sister Cassandra (11 June 1799) in which she first mentions Pride and Prejudice, using its working title First Impressions. While Bingley takes an immediate liking to the eldest Bennet daughter, Jane, Darcy has difficulty adapting to local society and repeatedly clashes with the second-eldest Bennet daughter, Elizabeth.Concluida
