The year 2282 is a few years after humans made androids, robots that look like humans and are made to be humans' slaves. Though, it is also the year where androids strike. They will continue to rampage through every city and state, except for android free zones, until androids have their rightful freedom from slavery.

The year is 2028, society is frustrating and competitive. Anyone who has a fair sum of money can buy an android with artificial pain receptors which they can punch, kick, burn, cut and strangle to their enjoyment. This is the story of one such android, PD-4001, built with an extraordinary density of pain receptors, who runs away from its owner's retreat in the swiss alps. Although PD-4001 only has one plan at the start; to travel as far as possible, it eventually meets up with a group of rescued androids, and together they go to live with the pacifist monks of the Lily Temple. Circumstances do however force them on an extended journey in which they discover human society, their own origin and purpose and existence itself. I wrote this novel back in 2018-2019 and revised it in 2020-2021, but it was first now that I realized I should post it online. I have been thinking about making a "remaster" with better plot, more likely language and more dynamical world building. So maybe that will happen. The government took over completely but was quickly overrun by robots that they had created to enforce the newly created laws. As the robots continued to make more of themselves and become powerful, kids were mainly targeted as they were seen as bad to the mechanical monstrosity that was ruining the city. A teenager tried to keep most of the kids safe and hid them well, making sure they were safe with mothers and fathers who had already suffered losses of their own children being taken and enslaved. At the start of the government taking over, a group of people was forced out of the city due to their ignorance, according to the government that is. It became a comforting story to the scared kids that they'll come back and save them, told by the teenager who risks his life to save them. One day, the teenager that was saving the kids suddenly goes missing after a night.Complete
