Wouldn't life be so much easier if right when someone started liking you, you knew? In this story, dots above people's heads indicate whether or not a person likes you. If they like you, only you would be able to see a green dot above the person's head. Then if they have a crush the dot would be yellow. Or if they love you the green dot would transform into a red heart. Chennin Mitchell, the main character, realizes that knowing isn't always easy when she sees that the head of The Crew, Preston Kingston, has a green dot above his head. How will she handle it?

Emilee can read emotions like books. Matt can't read at all because he's blind as fuck. Both riddled with self-hatred, anger and frustration, they somehow manage to become best friends, even though their personalities clash worse than plaid and polka-dots. (Both of which, coincidentally, Emilee loves to wear on occasion) Spontaneousness may just be what keeps them in trouble, and together. Emilee finds out how much she depends on Matt, and Matt always sort of knew he liked her. The only problem is who's going to tell who first? Secrets are spilt, friendships are broken and boy oh boy this is one fucked up story.
