When Fabuent, a budding mage living in the village of Wysteria, has his village razed by the celestial being known as the Moon Lord, he flees, meeting Maxwell, a middle aged man with knowledge about the world surpassing even many great elders, Alpha, a young man skilled in the way of the sword and Tricci, a girl with great skill in the art of bows and arrows and guns. They soon learn of their destiny as the new heroes of Terraria after the three consume a mysterious potion known as The Hero's Potion. However, they soon learn that a fourth hero is out there and set out to find the last hero and seek after the Moon Lord.
