Zarine suddenly finds herself dropped into a kingdom on the verge of destruction. The creatures in the shadows have been growing and spreading, and those in the light are in jeopardy. She doesn't remember much about her past or how she ended up there, but Zarine is chosen to help save the light and bring balance back to the world. With time running out, not only must she figure out who she was, but she must also discover who she will become.
