When her sister Marries the King of the Grieans she is attacked by a castle employee. These events lead Tier into the Otherworld where she must fight for the life of a child. To accomplish her task she must go undercover in a land she has been at war with for her entire military career.
When someone betrays her she is forced to discover things about herself she never knew.
