Milo is a puppeteer, a magic user who specializes in making dolls and mannequins and manipulating them mentally. Mika is his partner, a strange girl who knows more about him than he knows about himself. The two are remarkably intimate yet purely share a platonic relationship, but what happens when that changes? Mika soon falls under the influence of a evil Puppeteer using 'Human Puppetry', a forbidden branch of Puppetry that is inherently evil, and Milo must make a choice that will forever change his and Mika's life...for better, or for worse. To make matters worse, one of Milo's dolls slowly becomes sentient and bears an inherent want of killing, resulting in yet another complicated relation ship in the formidable tangle that compromises the delicate web of Milo's life.
