Marco Diaz is the new 3rd Grade Math teacher of Echo Creek Elementary. He knows all about the lessons. But has no idea how to be a teacher, how to get the kids to know and understand. Or how to even make them anywhere near interested to the subject.

On the verge of getting fired, Star Butterfly, who'd been ECE's 1st grade History teacher for 4 years, helps him know the ropes.
"I'm teaching them, but they just won't listen!"
