I sat in this hospital bed, reminiscing over my past, and I have gone my entire life, going in and out of relationships, that I never figured I'd find what I was truly searching for. I have been hurt so many times, that I thought love didn't even exist anymore. It got to the point, where I had given up, and I put myself in that treatment facility, because of depression, and I just wanted to give up on everything. At least until I met Jake Tyler. At first, when I first seen him standing in my doorway, I didn't know I would love again.
I thought he was just another guy that was gonna hurt me, and that day when he came to see me, and told me my mom missed me, I almost didn't consider going with him across country, especially since he was a company stranger. But there was just something that told me it would be alright, that I could trust him, and so I followed my gut. Being in hotel rooms with him, was great. He didn't try to do anything to me, he was a total gentleman.
When he wanted to date other girls, while we we're just starting out our relationship, and him becoming my bodyguard, I honestly wasn't okay with it, but I let him do it, because I already knew who I wanted, I was just waiting for him to see it as well. When I got pregnant with Francia, I was so scared, that he was gonna leave me, and be with one of them, but when I gave him that choice, he instantly chose me, and wasn't even fazed by me trying to test him, when I invited my friends, Emily Ratajkowski, Bella Hadid, and Hailee Steinfeld over. He proved then too, that he wanted me only, and I was so happy. I hated his job, because it was always so stressful on him, but he always tried to act like it didn't bother him.
