Stories of the cryptic past,
Stories to deepen your scars.
This is a dark short story collection. It traces the memories of our lives and the stories behind them. Memories which often leave us startled to the extreme.
We often find ourselves manipulating the circumstances and fighting everyday with our past and the present. But do you ever feel the need to peek into the future? What will it be like? Dark or light? I'll tell you.
Our future will be like starlight--- but, it'll leave you startled everytime you embrace it with delight, unfolding its dark side.
Let's see if you can emerge out tantalized, horrified or with the urgency to change the lighting system altogether.
Remember, every light is not as soothing as it seems.

Your ears are ringing, echoing in your brain, and everything hurts so badly. Your vision is going blurry as you try to fight back the tears, and you're wondering why you even try anymore. At one point or another, most of us have experienced the feeling of worthlessness, shame, or guilt. We feel like we're at rock bottom, and it seems like nothing will ever get any better no matter how hard we try. One thing we do know for sure, though, is that where there is dark, there is bound to be light, no matter how small that speck may be. There's always hope, no matter how far out of reach it may seem. I'd Like to think I was a good person, before it all began. I didn't cheat on tests, or steal. But throughout my entire life, I was treated if I were a monster. At the age of five, after several agonizing tests, I was diagnosed with Reactive Attachment Disorder. But not even that title could describe just how strange I was.
