High school hasn't been kind to Ace, so naturally going on the senior trip is the last thing on her mind. After Ace's stepmother forces her to go with good intentions, Ace feels the heavy anixety wieghing over her head. An entire week alone with the classmates that made her high school experiance a living hell. Her solution? become a ghost; hide away in her hotel room and stray from the group whenever possible. Ace finds herself in the middle of paradice and she's prepared to experiance something other than belly shots on the beach. She catches the eye of West Callaway as she slips away to do something she has longed to do since she moved from California. "Sometimes the waves are rough, rough enough to pull me under, rough enough to make me quit."
