Basically Lila is kind but a mega pushover, her best friend, beth, says some ish about her and she decides to do what any logical girl would do, get beth the flowers she asked lila to get and just bottle it up.

Jacob is extremely smart but doesn't hang with that crowd. He works at the flower shop and when the whirlwind that is Lila comes in asking how to make a f-you bouquet, he's captivated.

But his life is difficult, and Lila can't know about it.
