Maggie McNeily is not the average 1860's American Frontier woman. Only at the age of 19, she lives by herself in the wide open spaces of the Dakota territories; raising chickens, horses, and Holstein cows all by herself.
Her parents? Her father, the Sheriff, busies himself with his work. Her mother? Viciously murdered when Maggie was only six years old, right in front of her own innocent eyes. The secret murder is what inspires the courageous Maggie to become the infamous criminal 'The Ghost', created by injustice, and determined to be face-to-face Mexican standoff style with her mother's murderer once again.

The infamous 'Ghost' is exactly what brings bounty hunter, Ethan Hill to Sheriff McNeily's town. 'The Ghost' is known for its' precise skill of escaping a scene without being seen or leaving evidence he or she was even there. Will it be just another easy pay day for Ethan Hill or will he be another victim of the wickedly smart 'Ghost'? Also known as the drop dead gorgeous Maggie McNeily.

1870, Philadelphia, USA. Martha Whitcomb, the wild child of Philadelphia society, is now a grown woman, independent in wealth and in personality. At twenty-three, still unmarried and childless, she is exposed to constant rumors and ridicule, crushed by the ever-increasing weight of the sneers and jibes of her peers, and haunted by the failed engagement to the one who got away. Her dreams of becoming a successful businesswoman are blocked at every turn by the men around her, who are determined to smother the voice of a young woman intruding in their world. Realizing that she will never fit into the mold already set by society, Martha joins the droves of Americans heading west to the open frontier, a world that appears free from restraints, from convention, and from the expectations she has come to loathe. Upon her arrival to the growing town of Paradise Reach, she believes that she has indeed found her paradise. She soon realizes, however, why this town's inhabitants have dubbed it Purgatory Reach. She quickly learns that the west is free from the suffocating rules because it is a world more focused on immediate survival. It is a world where an insult could quickly escalate to a gunfight in the streets, a dangerous world crawling with outlaws, thieves, liars, and schemers. One of these outlaws is Jack Gatling, a rancher-turned-gambler. Escaping both demons of his own and the law, Jack came to Paradise Reach in hopes of making his fortune only to find himself focused on staying alive until tomorrow. In Martha, he sees an opportunity of his own, a chance to earn the riches he has been chasing. Martha knows she has two choices: return to Philadelphia with her tail between her legs and lock herself back in her gilded cage, or succeed in a world where women have few choices but to sell their bodies to make a living. Can Purgatory Reach again become Paradise? **Sequel to Dear Rhodora**

"Dance with me." While I knew it wasn't a demand, it wasn't a question either. I hesitated and he noticed. "Come on Grace, give this gentleman the honor of a dance." "I don't see a gentleman anywhere." He chuckled, stepping closer and tucking his thumbs into his tight jean pockets. He looked like every woman's dream--dark jeans that hugged him sinfully, golden-tanned skin contrasted by his white-fitted shirt, a black, wide-brimmed cowboy hat, and a smile that could send any woman on her knees. Not to mention a voice that coated your skin like silk sheets. I hated how much I noticed. "You're right, but I would like the honor anyway... ma'am." ********************* Meet Grace--living the city life, reserved, eager to please, loyal to a fault. Feeling empty for reasons she's not yet sure of, she's adamant on chasing anything that makes her feel free. Meet Colt--living the country life, private, stubborn, outspoken. Feeling empty for reasons he's well aware of, he hides in his daily routine. Grace can't seem to figure out why she holds nothing back when it comes to Colt. He's absolutely infuriating. Colt can't seem to understand the affect Grace has on him, and why he cares what she does. She's entirely maddening. When the two get lost in the wilderness, it's up to Colt to get them back. Can they put their differences aside long enough to survive? Is it Colt who will save Grace, or is it she who will be his saving grace? Unable to remember the tragedy that left her orphaned, a little girl grows up in the wild backcountry of 1850 Colorado. Facing betrayal, greed, danger, and love, she must choose the kind of future she wants for herself. Safely hidden away, alone, and content, or learn to accept somethings are worth the risk. * * "I hear there was trouble in White Rock two days ago. Man by the name of Ludlow was shot dead in the street. He's a hired gun from Texas, talk is he tangled with Red Rivers and lost." Faith felt her heart quicken at the mention of his name and frowned. "Red River's? The gunfighter? Last I heard he was in New Mexico." "Not no more ma'am. Word about is he's got a price on his head and all the local guns who think they're salty enough are out to take him down." Her mind was whirling. Rivers was a wanted man; every hired gun in the territory would be after him, especially if there was a large reward involved. Where would he go, what would he do? Of all the stories she'd heard of Red, he was not a man to run from a fight.
