**SHORT STORY**

John Laurens did something that was very out of character for him. He made a bet. A bet that he's sure he won't win.

But what if one person could change his luck entirely? What if that person's name were to be Alexander Hamilton?

But what happens when a simple bet turns into something more?

Alexander Hamilton works at a resturant that he also happens to own...but he has a secret. Alex has a voice that talks to him inside of his head. Said voice helped him through a lot of bad times and sometimes Alex thinks the voice is a computer implanted in his brain. Who knows, it might be true, or is he just crazy? No one knows Alex has this voice. Alex believes that they'd all think he's crazy. He meets a man named John Laurens. Ever since that day, he couldn't stop thinking about the gorgeous man. But what happens when Alex finds out that the voice is indeed real, and not just his head playing tricks on him? Not to mention a serial killer whom still roams around in his city, searching for the one with the gift of the voice. And why does the voice hate John Laurens? *this is currently being edited* I am horrible at descriptions so I'm just going to put an insert from it for now: Alexander Hamilton had never experienced snow. Never. Growing up in the Caribbean he'd never had the chance. Never until he'd moves to New York. Sure, he dreamed about seeing snow. But he never imagined that it was so cold. Yeah, it was pretty and all, but it was way too cold. The first year was the worst, but each year made Alexander dislike snow more and more. John was happy, though. Growing up in New York, John was used to the snow. Alexander on the other hand, he wasn't used to snow at all, as he grew up in the Caribbean. "Hey, Lex," John said, walking into his and Alexander's apartment. Alex looked up from his huddle of blankets on their couch. "No," he muttered. "What was that?" John asked, cheerfully. "No," Alex muttered again. "What?" "No. I'm not going outside." Alexander glared at John. "At least not until Spring."
