Ursula, in the midst of dealing with her mother and brother's death, gets sent to Alaska so her father, battling cancer, knows she is taken care of. While there she meets her new "roommates" a pack of males, five of them to be exact.
She is thrust into a journey where she finds that love is sometimes unconditional, but death isn't an excuse to die.
Excerpt:
"What the hell do you want?" I demanded, eyes blazing. She just stared at me a moment, her eyes wandering to my clothes which consisted of boxers.
She then cleared her throat, "I think I have the wrong address. I'm looking for Dalton and Jill Grady's kids."
"What for?" I asked, ignoring the pounding in my head.
"That is none of your business, now is it?" she spoke harshly, probably a side effect of me being so mean to her.
I crossed my arms, "Being that I am one of them I'd like to disagree. Now what the fuck are you doing here looking for us?" I demanded.
"Oh," she mumbled unsure. "I wasn't aware that there were males."
"We are all male," I growled, since she had yet to answer my question. "Now answer the fucking question or I will slam this door in your face."
"I'm Ursula Hawkins," she said with a raised brow. "Apparently I am staying with you for a while courtesy of our parents."

Now. Now's my chance. Everyone has already gone up to bed and it's only Evane and I left downstairs as the last movie ends. Despite the late hour I feel wide awake and I know Evane is still effected by my flirting and the bikini I wore earlier because she keeps glancing over to me, her eyes always lingering around my chest until she realises I've caught her looking. As the credits roll, Evane switches off the TV, stretching out her arms above her head. She looks over to me, seemingly surprised that I'm still so awake since I'm always the person who gets sleepy first. Before she can open her mouth to speak, I beat her to it. "Evane, can we go upstairs to our room? I have a surprise for you," I say, trying to hide the wide smile that wants to come over my lips. Her brow raises, wondering if I'm serious though I notice the realisation come across her face that this has something to do with what I've been hiding from her in my suitcase. "What is this surprise?" She teases, leaning forward until I can feel her warm breath washing over my face. "Something I think you'll love," I reply, trying my best to not get overly flustered as she starts flirting and teasing me. She hums, giving my lips a small kiss. "'Love', huh? Sounds exciting," she chuckles. "Let's go upstairs then, shall we?" *** Humans are unaware of mate bonds and are even less aware of other human-appearing species, but one vampire is determined to make her human mate understand the world she never knew existed - even if its not always through the most conventional methods. TW: THIS STORY INCLUDES SE*UAL A*SULT "You have a daughter?" Jack asked me as he watched Elena come running into the living room. Her school backpack was hanging on her elbows, and it hit her butt as she ran. Jack looked from me to Elena as she ran over to me, wrapping her little arms around my leg. Elena's cute brown curls bounced as she moved, and her big brown eyes shone as they looked from me to Jack. "Mama, who's he?" She asked me, her tinkly little voice ringing in my ears. "He's a friend of Mama's; why don't you go into the kitchen and wait for me, baby?" I asked her as I stroked her hair, and she looked suspiciously at Jack before nodding. She walked away slowly, eyeing Jack as she did. "You have a daughter?" He asked me again, and I looked into his eyes, trying to gauge his feelings on this matter. "Is it so bad if I do?" I asked, standing with my hands on my hips. "No, I hope to get to know her when you're ready." He said, and I blinked, a little astonished that he would be so cool with me having a child. Most dominant male wolves are against the idea of their mates ever having been with another. Hope Mayson was only 18 when her whole world shifted, and her best friend died. She died and left everything to Hope, including her baby daughter, Elena. To keep Elena safe from her father, Hope took her newly adopted daughter and ran. For 5 years, Hope kept Elena safe until Hope's mate, Jack, came into their lives, and soon the past catches up with the present.

Trying to escape her home life in order to save her little brother, Skylar must decide between keeping secrets or saving herself. With the help of Beckett, her first love, and his family Skylar might be able to break the cycle and stop from becoming everything she hates. Preview: I gritted my teeth when I saw that Beckett was still sitting there. I released Waylin's hand and pulled Beckett up from the chair and across the hall. "What do you want?" I asked harshly, trying not to raise my voice. "Nothing, I just thought you might need somewhere to stay. You said that you didn't have any relatives in the area, and I figured you and Waylin could stay at my house. My parents wouldn't mind." I rolled my eyes and took a deep breath to compose myself. "What makes you think I would want to stay with you? Huh?" I asked. He didn't flinch at my words, but looked sadly down at me. "Please, just put the past aside and do what's right for Waylin." "Don't you dare tell me what is best for Waylin! I've been taking care of him pretty damn well his whole life. You have no right to assume otherwise about my decisions." He put up his hands in surrender and sighed. "Look, I don't know why your mom is in the ICU, I don't know anything, okay? I just know that you're going to need somewhere to stay where there are actual adults because you aren't his guardian, and I don't see any social workers around. So, what? You told them you had a family member coming to get you, right?" I rolled my eyes and he continued. "Right. So, what are you going to do when they send social services to your house?" "Tell it again, Mom," he pleaded. I smiled at my son, sitting backwards in the chair. Kaleb was sitting next to him. His eyes seeming to nod in agreement. Samantha was sitting on his lap, curious as to what story they were speaking of. Astrid came in with Tessa, sitting with their mates. Astrid was Beau's mate. Tessa was my daughter, mated with Gabriel. The children were all out with Griffin, Derek, Benji and Luke, camping. We had the house to ourselves, away from all of my grandchildren and I smiled as everyone else gathered around with curiosity. "What's going on?" Collin asked confused. "Sh," his mate, Shelby, scolded, "Auntie Amber tells this story the best." "Well," I said with a smile, "It is my own." I paused a moment in thought. "Are you sure you want to hear this one?" "Yes," Astrid grinned, "I love this story." "And now we're all curious," Sam laughed. "Alright, well, then I suppose we should start from the beginning."
