It's not all roses...life.
Life, they say is not a bed of roses, but when you're an 18 year old Muslim girl who has had a caring family all her life, it's a bit hard to relate to that idiom.
That's until romance comes into play. Well, you fall in love? Maybe, maybe not.
Ultimately, love is not wrong; who you love can change your life forever, be it bad or good.
That's what happened to the girl in this book, she loved someone.

Once upon a time, An eighteen years old girl was in love with a boy, she use to pray for him... Crying in Sujood and beg Allah to make that easy for them to get married. But it didn't happen, the boy was married to someone else and the girl was broken from inside, but she hide all those tears and pains behind her beautiful smile. I watch the red rose in between his hands "isn't it strange...a red rose on the beach!!" his deep voice causes a shiver to run down my back. I look back into the ocean... the view was so magical. Love stories are always with roses, love and happiness...right? Yes but the thing is roses are never without piercing thrones, love is incomplete without unconditional hatred and happiness is never permanent and with unbearable pain. If you can cope up with all these and even then love someone then both of you are lucky and it's a successful love story. Then again some love stories are one sided and never has a happy ending or if it's a happy ending then there is a huge turn in the story. We always heard that love is a gamble and gamble is all about loss, benefit and bait, right? Well in case of love, the losses are piercing of thrones, hatred and pain while benefits are roses, love and happiness. BUT....the bait is you! Tune on the roller coaster of emotions of love, be it a successful one, one sided one or failed one. Give it a chance please :) None of the characters are perfect muslim but they are practicing.
