Over time, the two grow intense feelings for each other.
They never talked much before. In fact, he never really talked to anybody in general. But she had been smitten. She never took interest in the types of guys that pretended to be cool, drank, or partied. But for some odd reason, this mysterious man had a type of dignity to himself that drew her in. A type of strength. The only thing was that he was her college teacher.
This tutoring led to her strengthening that want for him as more than just a tutor, more than just a teacher, and more than just a friend. But she knew that she couldn't fall in love because she had an important secret that would put those closest to her in danger. She was a vampire. And since he was her teacher, he would get in much trouble if they had begun a relationship together.
But during one night, she came across an abandoned car shop. Rusty cars had been strewn about, and she made her way through the area, only for her to find a large, hideous beast, crouching over the carcass of something that was once living. Its mangled body was too destroyed to even tell what it was anymore. What was she to do in a situation like that. Or anybody for that matter.
