Due to collision of two tectonic plates an immense seaquake occured beneath the western side of the pacific ocean. The collision happened remotely that unbeknownst to most, a few islands come into existence as a consequence of the cataclysmic collision.
4 decades later, the group of islands were singularly owned and were turned into a state. Casting the world aside, a towering wall was created to isolate it from the rest. After almost another 3 decades, the academia within the state made its first grand appearance to the prospective candidates of the world. The start of academic year. The first grand entrance exam anticipated by the aspiring pioneers.
The place is currently uninhabited though it was ready to be occupied.
