Jadeyn has had a hard, complicated life.
When she was 3 years old her mother took off with her, leaving behind her two sons and their father to fend for themselves. Jadeyn was a baby and doesn't remember her bothers. Doesn't even know she had a father or brothers. Just just thought it was her and her mother.
On her 5th birthday her mother told her mother she was going to the meat section of the grocery store and to stay where she was. That was the last time she saw her mother.
Jadeyn had to find her way in the world by herself, with no one.
She had no idea she had two older brothers in the world, and she had a child to take care of - Rowen Mills. But a terrible thing happens and she lands right in the arms of a man she feels like she knows, but can't figure out how because she has never been in Chicago before.
Jay got a quick glimpse of the girl in his arms, they both have the same green eyes. He can't get over the fact that he feels like he has to be there when she wakes up. That he needs to protect her. But she's hiding something. More than one thing. She's a box of secrets. What is she hiding? Why does she keep running?
Find out what happens to these long lost siblings. Will they remember or will the past be too much to bare?
Will Jadeyn find peace or will her past finally catch up and tear her world apart more than it already is?
This story will be my own story line and all things I've come up with myself. It is not specific to any episode of Chicago PD, Med, or Fire.
All the characters from the shows I do not own, all rights to the creators.
But characters like Jadeyn Mills and Rowen Mills, and the bad guys and family are my own making.
This story is out of the characters views.
The book is mostly out of Jadeyn Mills's perspective but there are chapters with Jay Halstead and other characters as well.
This book Erin is not in it Hailey Upton is, so is Greg Getwitz (Mouse)
This book also has Violence, course language and some inappropriate things.

What if you wake up one day and all you know is gone? What if you wake up to be someone you thought never existed? My name is Jesse Lee Soffer. Okay, wait. Let's try that again. My name is Jay Halstead. In the world I woke up to today, Jesse Lee Soffer doesn't exist. Our real selves don't exist. One Chicago never existed. What we used to act has turned into reality. There's only one problem: We have no idea what to do. We're not cops. We're not firefighters. We're not doctors. None of us are first responders. We're actors, and we need to figure out a way to deal with this. We need to know the truth. But what if the lines between reality and fiction become blurry? It's hard to tell what to believe when you have to doubt who you even really are. ---- This book is finished, but it will be edited as soon as I get the time. The book starts where Chicago PD Season 7 ends. All rights reserved, have fun reading! I'd love to hear your opinions, so please comment or vote if you like... PLEASE NOTE: Apart from the One Chicago characters and cast, this story is a work of fiction. Any resemblance to other real persons, living or dead, or to other stories is purely coincidental. As I am using actors' names, please note that the storyline is fictitious and based solely on my love for One Chicago. I have never met any of the cast and do not mean to offend anyone or portray anyone in a particular way. Although actors' names are used, the characters are fictitious and do not represent real life One Chicago cast members. The characters in this story are nothing more than exactly that - characters. I fully respect all One Chicago actors and their privacy.
