Deep within the woods, far beyond the land known to the Kingdom of Everhart -- past the bulwark of the dark and grim forest -- lied a magic man had no knowledge of, even yet to discover; a magic that surpassed the natural laws of the earth, a magic uncovered only by those whose hearts were pure.
Yet, unbeknownst to men and stories written in all of the land's history, were a couple who bore a child in the womb. Inside the womb of a frightened maiden was a blinding light which awed the eyes of the spirits who guarded the forest's magic. T'was the purest of hearts their watchful eyes had seen, and so, they crossed the dark forest, where no one had ever been.
