Mae's a famous black female detective who's been sloving cases since she was 17. she was the youngest detective ever at Mr mane headquaters. they dont take detectives this young but mae proved she was as good as they come after she sloved the case of all 20 missing childern which has been going on for a year. mae found them in only weeks.

Since mae's a famous detective she's been making piles of money from the city. Mae is know as a hero pretty much everywhere. Maes been moved around so much from city to city to town to town she's just decied to settle down in a apartment with her little sister camila. Mae's parents got in a crash and died when she was only 14 and cam was 3. Since then Mae's been taking care of herslef and her little sister.

Mae gets assigned a new case. the case of maple street. 17 people have been killed at maple street in tallsgate town. the killings been going on for months. so Mr mane, the boss assighs the most famous detective to it. But mae's begining to think te case is to hard even for her. One day the boss assigns mae a new partner. nickohlas stone. and thats where things get hectic.

Mae's still determined to slove this case and she's pretty damn sure she dosent need help from a man.
