A women found an abandoned baby girl outside her house. She decides to raise the child as she would her own, since her's didn't turn out the way that she wanted. Then, after having her for a few years, she realized that something was strange about her. She would change into a small wolf. She then starts to lock her up in the basement, hoping to keep her from the world, or to destroy the monster that lived inside of the girl. After years of being held as a prisoner, she escaped and ran for the woods from whens she came. Only the old women wasn't going to let her get away so easily, for she gathered the men from the town, and sent them after her.
Right as they were about to caught her, a giant wolf jumps in front of her, guarding her. The hunters that were sent after her were immediately chased back into town. From there, her life became something she was proud of. She was adopted unto a pack, and quickly learned how to be who she was meant to be. Then years after her great escape, once again, a giant wolf jumps in front of her, guarding her during a rouge attack. Little did she know that he would turn out to be her's.
Grace has spent the past two years locked up and held prisoner by Kellan and his rogues. Now that she is finally free she wants nothing more than to return to her pack and deal out some swift justice for those who had betrayed her. Except it's not quite that simple and Grace's enemies have other plans for the young Alpha female.
Grace finds herself saved by a small pack of rag tag wolves who are strange as strange can be. The strangest of them has to be there reluctant leader, Silver. Silver wants nothing more than to live out the rest of his days as a lone wolf but the others cling to him, it's instinctual considering he's an Alpha. He's not like any Alpha Grace has ever seen before, there is something more to him a sort of raw power. Grace is less than pleased when she realizes that this grouchy lone wolf is none other than her other half. It might seem simple but Silver has his secrets too and his past is full of enemies that want to sink there teeth in and never let go.
With the odds stacked against the two Alphas will they be able to follow the instinct to lean on each other to get through the fire or will they be torn apart by the flames of their enemies...
I mean it's not about what you're running from, it's about what you're running towards.
