Tommy was my best friend when we lived in Pittsburgh, we had been friends our whole life. But at age 16 he and his mother were going to leave and move across the country. Tommy asked me to go with them and I did. We were heading West and then North when Tommy's mother got sick, we stopped in Tacoma, Washington. Both Tommy and I tried to help her, but their was nothing we could do. We helped her almost 2 years, but nothing worked and she passed away. Tommy went and joined the Marine Core after his mother passed, we still lived together and became more than friends. The day after his 21st birthday he was shipped over to Iraq to fight in the war. 
What will happen next?
