Chat Noir is the king of the Paris Underground. Unbeaten, he dominates every dancer who challenges him. Adrien finds freedom in the rhythm and loves escaping his everyday life as a ballet prodigy at his dad's dance academy and fleeing to the Paris Underground.
Marinette is a clumsy dancer at the Agreste School of Ballet, where Hip Hop and Breakdancing are looked down upon and disapproved of. Marinette can never stand completely straight or keep her toes pointed, she's simply too clumsy. But she's determined to stay in the school because of her massive crush on the founder's son, Adrien. Little does she know everything's about to change when she accidentally finds herself in the Paris Underground.

When Adrien turns 18 he finally finds out who Ladybug is and he can't wait to date her. Mari finally has the courage to tell Adrien how she feels. The only thing stopping them is Hawk Moth and their terrible luck. Ladybug was the best breakdancer in New York City. Everyone wanted to know the girl underneath the red painted mask. Underneath was Marinette Dupain-Cheng, a sweet, kind, and popular girl at school. But now, she has to move with her family to Paris. Marinette decided to attend the best dance school in Paris run by Gabriel Agreste. There she meets her newfound crush, Adrien Agreste. With mean girl, Chloe, and her crush, Marinette becomes shy and klutzy. Thankfully, she becomes friends with Alya and Nino who tell her about Club Miraculous. The school bans you from going there and if you're found out, you will be expelled. As Ladybug, she goes later that night to check it out with Alya (AKA: Ladywifi) and Nino (AKA: The Bubbler). There she beats out the flirty Cat Noir and befriends him. Soon, Paris hears about the confident and courageous Ladybug and her partner, Cat Noir. But when Hawkmoth comes by Miraculous, he threatens to take the club. It's up to Cat Noir and Ladybug to save their club! Will Marinette be able to keep her school life separated from her secret identity, or will all be revealed? Adrien had gotten into one of the biggest arguments he had ever had with his father, leading him to run from his home as his alter ego, Chat Noir. They had grown apart since his mother's disappearance. Adrien always tried to speak with his father and try but he was always busy or away. He finally snapped at his father. But where would he go for the night? He had to find someone he could trust. Marinette wasn't expecting Chat Noir to show up on her balcony with red eyes filled with tears. Her first thought after seeing him was the akumatized version of him, Chat Blanc. She immediately brings him inside, making it her job to help him. She was not going to let her partner become her worst nightmare. He needed some place to feel safe? She would become that. It became an everyday thing. Chat Noir would visit Marinette every day, they would talk about their days as Chat tried to keep his as dense as possible to not reveal his identity. They would play video games and eat food from the bakery. But what happens when something happens to Marinette that makes her break? Marinette has no where to go so Chat decides to be that place. "We cats tend to stray." ~~~ While out one night in the park, Chat Noir finds Marinette and tries to escort her home safely. But she's injured protecting him from an akuma and he feels responsible for her. Intent on making it up to her, Chat Noir visits her regularly to make sure she's doing well. But it doesn't take long before their meetings become more than just casual check-ups. Bad things happen when superheroes fall for civilians, but even with the threat of Hawk Moth looming around, Chat can't seem to stay away. Will the risks be worth it in the end? "It was funny, I'm glad they kept it in." He flicked her exposed leg through the dress slit. "Okay, but I just had a question about Ladybug." Marinette swallowed hard at the mention of herself. She suddenly felt like she shouldn't be hearing this because she was Ladybug. "Okay, shoot it." He bit his lip, maybe unsure how to word it. "Well... I kinda tried to court her for at least the last 7 months. She didn't accept it, and I finally accepted that myself... but I guess my question is why she might not have wanted me. I'm sorry, I'm not even sure you could answer that... It just seems like Ladybug trusts you, so maybe she mentioned something to you?" -- Marinette Dupain-Cheng, a usually stubborn, headstrong girl, finally gives up on liking Adrien Agreste.
