textbooks // newtmas au
newt is a reserved british boy with a past worth escaping // thomas is a track star who also excells academically // the glade university seems like the perfect place to start over, but of course not everything works out like the movies // exposed to the real world of heartbreak, secrets, demanding classes and well alcohol, they both realize that the most important thing to have is someone to lean on - disclaimer: this is an EDITED VERSION of the original. I wrote both so it's not plagiarism. this version is more mature, slightly longer and written much better. also, some scenes have changed so the long term fans of this fic can have some new contentComplete

Night Visions (TMR) (Newtmas)
It's been two years since Newt first woke up to the Glade and, since Alby and he managed to enforce a number of rules to stop anarchy among all the other boys, nothing has changed much. Every month means the arrival of a new boy to the Glade and four weeks more without finding a way out of the Maze, and every month Newt grows more hopeless about his future. Until Thomas. Thomas, with whom Newt shares confusing visions about their past every time their eyes meet-and who turns out to be the first of several factors leading to a brutal change in the Maze's rules. Soon enough it is clear that the two boys will have to work elbow to elbow if they want to get everyone out alive. But not everyone is happy about it, and as Newt and Thomas' feelings for each other grow stronger with every vision, they might have to face something worse than the creatures that lurk the Maze. Something that sets their hearts racing every time they are together, and that might be their only hope of surviving. *** TMR book 1 rewritten to make Newtmas canon!Complete
