I do not own Cardfight Vanguard at all and all rights go towards Bushiroad, and anyone who helped create this series. I only own the characters and the clan Dark Union, and this is a continuation of my other story called Cardfight Vanguard: The Neo Generation.

A year has passed since Neo Generation has successfully defeated Dark Union's Requiem, this is the story of what happened after those events and how Neo Generation was fairing, but what happens when an old enemy comes back to teach them a lesson?

The long awaited summer vacation has finally begun, but the peaceful holiday Takanori was hoping for is dashed when Mikazuchi-sensei introduces him to one of the former Kings of GEN Academy, Saionji Yuuri. Despite only being four years older than him, Saionji has already graduated from Cambridge University with a Masters in Vanguard, and is currently studying a Doctorate at the University of Tokyo. Part of her thesis revolves around bringing the world of card games and racing together, the two things she loves most, in an unprecedented project called Motor Future, or MF for short. This has led her to create a fully realised concept of "Riding Duels", where the winner is determined by whoever wins the race or cardfight first. To trial this system, Saionji is holding a Riding Duel tournament, and asks Mikazuchi-sensei to draft in some additional candidates via his connections. He chooses two 1st Year students from GEN Academy: Minamoto Kumi, a racing prodigy from A Class who has a decorated history of repeated wins in the F4 Championship, and Takanori, who has never driven a car in his life before. To make sure he can participate, Minamoto must teach Takanori how to drive, and the pair head up to Gunma, along with Shigaisoshi Namie, to complete a hellish training course. At the same time, Anjou Nozomi has been tasked by Mikazuchi-sensei with coaching Takanori in the Premium format as part of his preparation due to its reintroduction. Things were how he wanted it to be until he is lead into a vanguard card shop called Card Universe and meets the Diablo Fighter Edge Reyuki. I do not own the characters, all the characters belong to the owner Bushiroad! After the Stride Gate events and after becoming the Generation Master. All TRY3 members have gone their seperate ways. Chrono Shindou studied at Harumi High School and work as a part timer in Card Capital 2. Shion Kiba studied at Fukuhara High School and continue being the Kiba heir, and Tokoha Anjou went to Paris and studied there. Because of that, Chrono feels really empty whenever he is working, studying and even in a cardfight. With Shion he can meet him anytime since he is still in Japan, however it's different with Tokoha. He is not gonna lie that he really missed her a lot. What will happen now? We are about to find out!
