He succeeds, but gets trapped in deal he can't escape from. A few months later, a shadow starts terrorizing the land of Inkopolis. It strikes at night, it's blade cutting down everyone that gets in it's way. One night, four travelers gather to stop the shadow, and go out to fight it. Soon Mario's gaze had to come to an end because the "All Star Meggy Spletzer" had to shoot ink at him, but Mario didn't stay mad at her, so he followed Meggy where she was going to train with her team.
