A Lush Affair: A Jealous Till Jade Sequel (A Hwarang Fanfic)

8 parts Complete

Three years after the rescuing of King Jinheung and arrest of Sun Woo, Minister Park, his son Ban Ryu, and Soo-Ho, the Kingdom of Silla is successfully preserving its peace. Meanwhile, the new prince Onjo, brother of the former prince Chang, returns to his family in Baekje to find a new wife and prepare to become king. Now as monarch of Silla, Queen Jade must stand by King Jinheung's side to work to make sure a bloody disaster never occurs in their kingdom again. However, things go off-course as Jinheung allies with a now crowned King Onjo to plan an attack on Goguryeo in conquest of the Han river, which they believe can be used as a trade route to China. Queen Jade, struggling from the fact that Jinheung has changed throughout the duration of his reign, attempts to stop him from starting a war. She feels a heavy weight on her shoulders as it is up to her to put a halt to this blood bath and to maintain peace in Korea. But things get even more difficult as Jade meets son of Count Seo, Viscount Joon, who fills the gap in her heart that her husband has not been able to. Will Jade succeed in preventing the war from taking place all the while fixing her broken marriage? Or will she give everything up and run away with Viscount Joon? *Read my prequel: Like Mother!*
