Once again I'm left to sleep alone and wonder how to traverse the rocky scapes of my mind without getting lost, the tether binding us no longer holding strong. I feel him distancing himself and I can't follow, I'm unable to keep my feet on the ground and I begin to float away. Slowly I can feel the thread that connects our souls pull taught until I feel the small vibrations of each snapping fibre reach through my heart and into my lungs, stealing my breath.
