Fairy Lights

Casey Spice has gotten through every challenge thrown at her so far, with the help of the two best friends she could ask for. Chris Lakeheart and Dem Magipiece, the friends mentioned before, have been there through it all, and don't plan on leaving any time soon.

Strange things have been happening recently in the quiet town they've come to love. Robberies, disappearances, monsters prowling the streets, and things of the kind have been alarmingly frequent. Humans, though, don't seem to care. What's a few stolen magical potions, or enraged, enchanted beasts to them? They were left alone. The wizards, forestfolk, and fantasy creatures, however, are beginning to panic. Will three not-so-ordinary friends be able to stop the evil that threatens their world?

Important Side Notes:

I do not own the cover art. This story is independently written by myself. While I draw inspiration from other sources, I want to clarify I am not attempting to take credit for what is not mine. For instance, the character Dem often uses magic during this story. The way she uses it is the same way or almost the same way it is used in Rainbow Rowell's Carry On. I do not claim to own anything from her book. Those who have read her book will see that this has a very similar style. This is simply because I enjoyed her book and how it was written, I do not mean to take any credit. I respect her greatly and very much enjoy the mentioned book.

Dem, as you may know, was created for the same universe as Purple Royzuka's character, Purple. To avoid causing plot holes in his story line and therefore being unable to canonize this book, I will not be using him in this story. He may be mentioned in the explanation of Dem's backstory or in her dialogue, but never directly used to avoid issues. This means Dem will be slightly edited compared to herself in his stories. Whether Dem used here is cannon is yet to be determined.
