Once upon a time, Leander decided to kidnap a sorceress. It didn't go to plan.

[Wattpad Picks: Editors' Choice]

Leander just wanted to forget the army now he'd left it behind him, but war had dogged the country for the past thirty years and forgetting was nigh impossible, especially when it looked unlikely to finish any time soon. Pretty, clever and vivacious, Miss Harper was surely the perfect distraction. If only she would give him the time of day...

Unfortunately Miss Harper only had eyes for her big promotion (in whatever that job of hers was) and Leander didn't feature in her plans. All she was interested in was magic, something nobody took seriously, and the fate of the nation. Drunk and desperate, he made one final, wild attempt to be noticed by her.

Magic, it transpired, was a little more serious than Leander had bargained for. If he thought he'd escaped the war, he was sorely mistaken: it was exactly where Lissy Harper was heading, and now she was taking him with her.

Nothing was more dangerous than a sorceress when you'd got on her bad side.

Attention, potential readers of my book! Brace yourselves for a rollercoaster of emotions, because in "My Missing Piece (Harmione)," you'll find more drama than a quidditch match with broomstick malfunctions. We're talking self-harm, torture, and enough blood to make a vampire blush. If you're as sensitive as a blast-ended skrewt, consider steering clear. But for the brave souls out there, here's a sneak peek: This tale kicks off just a month after the Hogwarts showdown, and Harry's got it bad for Hermione. Ever since the Yule Ball, he's been head over heels for the brightest, smartest, funniest, and most drop-dead gorgeous witch he's ever laid eyes on. But will Hermione reciprocate his feelings, or will their friendship go up in flames faster than a Weasley's fireworks display? Dive into this fanfiction and discover the answer, if you dare! ⚡? ***** "Harry?" Hermione called out. Harry's heart plummeted like a bludger to the gut. If she asked the one question he'd been praying she wouldn't, he might as well take a one-way trip to Azkaban for awkwardness. Their friendship, he feared, would be more shattered than a crystal ball dropped from the Astronomy Tower. Harry clung to the hope that she'd ask about anything else, but it seemed fate had a twisted sense of humor. Slowly, he turned to face those enchanting chocolate brown eyes he could never get enough of. She spoke the words he'd been trying to dodge like a rogue bludger. "Why didn't you spill the beans about being head over heels for me, Harry?" Hermione inquired, leaving him in a pit of utter despair. And so, the tale of Harry's romantic blunders began, filled with more twists and turns than a Niffler's chase for shiny objects. ?
