Just your typical Destiel high school AU.
Dean Winchester is your typical jock. Popular, loud and annoyingly confident.
He lives with his usually absent father, John, and practically raises his little brother, Sam.
His problem? He's a people pleaser. All he has ever wanted is to make his father proud, to be the person everyone wants him to be.
Castiel Novak is your typical nerd. Socially awkward, quiet and stressing over his perfect grades.
He lives with his adoptive father, Chuck Shurley, his brothers Gabriel and Michael, and Michaels long term partner, Lucifer.
His problem? He fears failure. It's constant. The nagging voice in his head telling him it's not enough, that he's not enough. He worries that if he isn't perfect, people will leave him. Just like his parents did.
Dean and Castiel both feel sparks towards each other, but with all their differences and personal challenges, will sparks be enough?
Supernatural AU, focusing on Destiel with a side of Sabriel and Micifer, and a healthy dose of forth-wall breaking.

He had his old uncle Bobby there as a father figure but he lived three states away, making him hard to see often. Now both brothers were quite lonely despite the girlfriends they both had. Dean had Lisa, a women who has short term memory loss. Sam has Jess who was getting sick with fevers from left and right. Both Winchester boys were sick of all of this work. Dean with having to deal with taking Lisa out on first dates almost every week to try and spark her memory. Then Sam constantly in the hospital because Jess was burning up. They also had to deal with there jobs, the older one worked at his mechanics shop, the younger was a lawyer. Now both were planning on spending Christmas alone. But one day Castiel just came out of the closet and tells Dean that he is gay. The fact that he is homosexual is not the disturbing part for all this. Destiel Being Noticed
Castiel Novak comes from a religious family, only having his siblings to turn to since they've never met their mother and their father has abandoned them. Castiels eldest brother Michael (32) has become 'father' of the house, Lucifer (28) has become a drug addict only coming to the family to see if they will help him get his next fix, his sister Anna (26) acts as sort of the mother hen towards everyone, then there is Castiel (18) who happens to be homosexual, and Gabriel (16) the youngest most annoyingly adorable little brother. Home life for Castiel is no better than school life, he is constantly berated for being gay and is only allowed to stay with the family because Anna won't let Michael ditch Castiel and Michael doesn't want to get on gods bad side. Dean Winchester (19) lives with a drunk father and looks our for his younger brother, Sam (16). He has looked out for Sam his whole life, always there to make sure that Sammy is never left alone to get hurt by their fathers drunk anger. All throughout Deans childhood he has looked at girls, has wanted them, yet he sometimes gets these feelings for boys as well. But his father tells him it's wrong, beats him if he even talks about it or does anything with another boy. Dean doesn't know what to think, to listen to his father or to listen to his heart. He's never had his mother by his side, she died and wasn't there to help Dean understand himself. So Dean instead listens to his father and watches out for Sammy. So what will happen when a religious disappointment to his family and an obedient confused son find their paths cross? Will they find love within each other?
