(First book in The Morelli's series! The second book is called Colors! Enjoy!)

The car crash from six years ago, the one that changed Arabella Winters' life forever-- or so she thought. This is where her story begins.

Arabella grew up without her mother and lost her father early. All she had was Amity- her unofficial sister. But that was okay, they were always happy, lived a normal life. Until Mystery Boy strolled into school, of course, and turns out he's a vampire.

Everything changed, their life is a constant battle and things that didn't seem to exist... pretty much exist now. The only thing Arabella and Amity can do is welcome the change with open arms and enjoy it the best way they can- together.

The romance mixed in with a little bit of chaos gives their new life that extra bit of 'life spice'. How about you take a dip into their world?

Not liking the way Kimmy and Jake are with one another, they later on during the trip pick up a guy named Luke along the way and in return he offers them free accommodation at his father's cabins he rents out to back packers, the cosy cabins situated on a beautiful bit of land even Emily can't resist. Thanking Luke for the gesture it doesn't take long for Emily and Jake to get stuck into an argument due to Emily not being able to bite her tongue for much longer on the Jake and Kimmy situation, Jake disappearing the next day with Kimmy and leaving Emily to wonder exactly what the both of them got up to. With things not sitting right with her and discovering Kelsey isn't saying much on the whereabouts of her cousin and friend. Not to mention the girl's weird behaviour on the matter, she soon finds that Kelsey's hiding something after practically dragging it out of her, and it doesn't take her long to work out she's been ditched by all three of them and left stranded. Soon she discovers Jake's ignoring her calls when multiple attempts to try to contact him end up going unanswered and for things to start unravelling, the person who had been there for her during the messy breakup with Jake, no longer a shoulder for her to lean on. However, the world is darker, and far more dangerous than she could have ever predicted, especially when it turns out the hero is a much bigger jerk than she expected him to be. Pip knows how to circumnavigate the Hero's Journey and the pitfalls and loopholes of this particular world - but what will happen to her beloved characters outside of the comfort of the fantasy they were written for? And what happens when it's not the hero, but the hero's overlooked and bullied little brother who proves to be her biggest champion? * Cover by Ruthanne Reid You can find out about the rest of the series at http://www.jmfrey.net/books
