A literally wild princess from an animal-fur-wearing clan living in the forest and a refined and civilized prince from a castle in a kingdom by the sea. Both are polar opposites from their looks, to their homes, to their families. Princess Miyako turned 18 a couple weeks ago and has just begun her training on becoming the next clan leader. Prince Akihiko has recently turned 21 and is about to become king. But before he becomes king, he must marry someone of royal descent. Prince Akihiko has gained word of the princess's birthday and realizes she is now a legal adult, making her a possible choice to become his queen. Miyako hates Akihiko for kidnapping her and the prince is getting fed up with her stubbornness. Soon they realize that they both have some very personal problems to deal with and that they have more in common than they originally thought. Prince Akihiko lost his mother at a young age and his father hasn't been coping very well with the queen's death. His father has become violent and hardly ever leaves his room. Princess Miyako has lost her father and is being married to a stranger. She still has no idea where her mother is or what happened to her village. Will they ever be able to push through their problems and Prince Akihiko capture the princess's heart? Or will their problems and hatred consume them and cause their marriage to go up in flames?
