After a high school field trip at a power plant goes wrong, Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, Michael Clifford, and Ashton Irwin wake up to find themselves in the hospital unscathed somehow but still spend the weekend recovering. Suddenly they realize that they're not the same boys as they once were before, as they find themselves having superhuman abilities. They all meet up and think the same exact thing.
