Elizabeth, better known as "Liza," has always done everything she was told. I guess you can say that she was the perfect daughter. When she finds out that she has to spend a whole summer with him, she hopes for some way to escape her father, who still sees her as his innocent little princess. It was time to do things her way and dad would just have to accept that she wasn't a baby anymore. With the help of a new friend, Jo, and a certain skater boy, she discovers true friendship and first love. Her life seems perfect now, but will she have her happy ending?

An Unexpected Moment

While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. A certain bad boy who happens to be her neighbor takes a keen interest in her. She's never liked anyone and has had no real interest in any relationship, only her studies that kept her busy. He's smart but acts like he's the greatest and he tries to impress her but she can hardly be impressed by things she can do.
