Major league baseball player Patrick Stump had everything he could ever dream of wanting. So why would he kill himself? Day after day of living a seemingly perfect life catches up to Patrick when he realises he's made a huge mistake: leaving his boyfriend Pete to pursue a career in baseball. Pete, obviously wanting nothing to do with Patrick after twenty years of radio silence, turns down Patrick's attempts to reconnect the love he left behind in high school. Patrick commits suicide, but when he gets to Hell, he meets Spencer Smith, the right hand man of Satan. When Spencer offers Patrick a deal he cannot turn down, Patrick might just have the opportunity to win Pete back. This go around, though, he has to make sure not to fuck anything up, or he'll never get another chance to make things right. PETERICK AU. TRIGGER WARNING: MAIN CHARACTER COMMITTING SUICIDE.

A lawyer's life isn't meant to be dramatic. Especially when his specialty is writing wills and prepping your impending death. But Patrick Stumph doesn't think he has much more to offer. He is just awaiting the day his will comes in handy. He spends his day in a law office. He paints to escape. He slashes his skin to hate. The day Pete Wentz literally jumps into his life, his car comes screeching to a halt. The young hairdresser shows the lawyer that maybe there is something worth living for, as long as he stops until the light is green. (Trigger warnings.
