The Old Ones ⚜️ TVD

The Old Ones were nothing if not an old tale. No one truly knew who or what they were. Told to be the oldest most powerful beings to have ever walked the earth. They were never human and existed long before the pyramids were ever built. No one knows how The Old Ones came to be not even themselves. But they were told to be cruel and vile creatures that only ever brought terror and destruction in their wake. Around the time there was nobody who did not know of The Old Ones tale. Humans terrified to even speak their names knowing that death would be brought upon them if so. Finding no weaknesses for these beings no way to kill them all hope was lost. Till the battle of The Guardians the first ever beings of goodness and light appeared, striking down The Old Ones. The bloody battle lasted for centuries in which no human was ever seen. No one knew what happened during the battle except that at the end The Old Ones had fled never to be seen again. Over the millenniums the story of The Old Ones had become nothing more than a tragic made up bed time story about destruction and loss.
