Natalia has lived her whole life thinking she's the only one that can do what she does, freeze time. Forgot to do your homework, freeze time. Need to get ready for a confrontation, freeze time. She's always wanted to share this with someone, her girl friend, brother, best friend, just walking around while the world around you has stopped. And one day, something happens.

    I ran up my stairs, laid down in bed, and kept everything frozen. I liked this time of day and I think it should stay this way for some seconds longer. I opened my window, and saw unmoving joggers, cars, and dog walkers. I turned on my playlist. The only noise.
    Then, I heard something, when I shouldn't be hearing anything of the sort. Something against the pavement outside, I looked out the window, and he was moving.
    A boy, my age or maybe a little older, riding a skate board moving swiftly.
    "Wha-?" I mumbled under my breath but I stopped.
