Peter is an ordinary boy born in October 1934. He liked to socialize, joke, throw things at girls, and challenge himself. His slicked brown hair and eyes to match made everyone look at him like the same Peter that they've always known.
But two months after his sixth birthday, he begins to hear voices telling him to do terrible things. A week later, he is diagnosed with schizophrenia. On the outside, he was beginning to break down, become shy and worried. But on the inside, he was already destroyed. In private, he would whisper suicidal phrases to himself, and that's the least he had done.
But when he turns eleven, he starts to become happier and recollect his personality. He grows a sudden, yet determined yearning to write books. He pays more attention in class, gets A's and A+'s on his report cards, even the more advanced subjects, and finds that a college has inquired his appearance.
He starts to lose his friends once again, as they notice that he is acting "like a girl" and "nerdy". Will Peter get new friends, find his old friends' hearts, or relive his child misery?
